Hi, I'm Luisa, a certified dog trainer from ‘The Dog Training College’. I offer a variety of tailored training packages to suit your situation. Each package comes with a personalised lesson plan (via phone call or face to face consultation) for each individual client. Dog training isn’t just about the dog. It's more-so about teaching owners the best way to communicate to their furry pals. Understanding what's going on behind the scenes in your dog's mind, learning to speak their language. This will help to understand the reasoning behind their behaviour which will lead to improving your relationship and develop a healthy lifestyle.
I work with passionate clients who are willing to put in the work and effort with their dogs to seek improvement in behaviour and relationship. Training takes time and patients to get results. The effort is rewarded when you and your dog are on the same wavelength whilst having fun in the process.
I help put together realistic expectations and put the goals in place. Training your dog shouldn’t be a puzzle. I will help you get a picture of the end result you are looking for and with each personalised lesson plan, I can help you connect the dots.
What we offer
There are 3 categories/ packages to choose from;
- Puppy training
- Basic training
- Behavioural/ Reactivity training
Each package has a different amount of sessions to choose from. If you are unsure on how many sessions you may need, a conversation can be held during the consultation in order to find the best package for you. Consultations are included within each package as the first session in order to get to know your dogs, their needs and quirks .
A non-refundable £30 deposit will be made prior to training package purchase. This allows changes to be made after the consultation if you wish to choose a different training package and or amount of sessions to go with.
What is a Consultation?
A consultation is a meeting/ discussion about your dog. This will help me get an understanding on what you are looking for, narrowing down your options and for me to make your sessions personalised. A consultation is included in every package as the first session. This can either be via phone call, a home visit or over facetime.
BEHAVIOURAL/ reactivity package
What is reactivity?
Reactivity with dogs is when they may bark, growl and or lunge in result of a common trigger with high arousal, normally from the vasopressin (water retention) and/ or cortisol (stress) hormones.
There are different types of reactivity. Some can be more high maintenance then others and difficult to control, especially in certain situations. I can help you break down each trigger/ behaviour and we can work on them together. I can help you identify what type of reactivity your dog may have.

Focusing on the main priorities which help build a great relationship between you and your dog. This package includes three different amounts of sessions for you to choose from. This is to best suit your dog's attention span and level/ speed of learning.
You will be provided with personalised lessons to suit your goals with unlimited support throughout your learning journey. Updates on progress can be made through emails, texts and videos. Questions, advice, support and reassurance will be available 24 hours, 7 days a week. All included with your package.
